– The media personality and lawyer had taken to his Twitter page to comment on the conviction of Olisa Metuh for fraud
– A Twitter user then said that Ebuka should focus on entertainment and leave politics
– The media personality reacted by saying he has been hosting a national TV show for eight years that deals with politics and current affairs
Many Nigerians are on social media for only one thing. For some, it is for entertainment, for others, it is to know what is going on in the political sector.
However, a few people use social media to gain all round information on politics, entertainment, gossip, humour and more.
Just recently, popular Nigerian media personality, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, took to social media via his Twitter page to comment on the conviction of PDP’s former spokesperson, Olisa Metuh, for fraud.
A Twitter user identified as Sheikh Jargo did not seem to understand why a popular entertainment show TV presenter will have an opinion on politics.
Jargo took to the comment section to advice Ebuka to stick with being a TV host. Ebuka then replied that he is doing just that by commenting on the Metuh case because he has been hosting a national TV program for eight years that deals with politics and current affairs.
The internet user then continued that politics and entertainment do not mix except there are free beers on the table.
