MAZI NNAMDI KANU WARNS ABIA STATE POLICE COMMISSIONER AHEAD OF PARENTS BURIAL.
GIVES IPOB INTELLIGENCE UNIT A STANDING ORDER.
The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) have cautioned the CP in Abia State Ene Okon over his statement that if IPOB should attend the Burial of Late Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and that of his beloved wife Lolo Sally Okwu-Kanu who before their death were members of IPOB and also parents to the leader of IPOB, that the burial will not be peaceful. So therefore Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have issued a clear warning, that if anyone is killed on the 14th of February which is the burial date, that the children of the CP will be hunted down and also killed.
His words: I am saying this live on air, you can record it and keep for referral purpose, I am saying this to the Commissioner of Police Abia State, Me Ene Okon if you kill anyone in my parents funeral on the 14th February, your children will be hunted down wherever they are and be killed too.
He also extended the warning to the Army from the COAS to the commanders in any platoon or cantonment in Abia State, warning them that in whosever command a Biafran is killed on that day, that they will hunt the commanders and officers family down. He also gave a standing order to IPOB to get every details about all the commanders, Police Commissioner’s children, where they live and where they school. He said they have been showing us madness and it is time to show them our own madness and that February 14th is the Rubicon. He said he is ready to be arrested anywhere in the world and face their court so that the matter will be argued.
Below is the statement of the police Commissioner which was obtained from a Nigerian Daily
Okon had said: “Do you think we will sit down here and allow IPOB to participate in the burial? Whoever thinks along that line is fooling himself. IPOB will dance during the burial and the police elephants will dance too.
“I have already reached out to the traditional prime minister of Afaraukwu (Nnamdi Kanu’s community) and told him that if they want the burial to go smoothly and for police to give them security, they should tell IPOB not to near the area not to talk of participating in the burial. If they fail to adhere to what we’ve told them, that means they do not want the burial to go on smoothly because we are going to scatter the place.”
